Common Bathroom Remodeling Tools You May Need
Author: junior will
Are you looking to start a bathroom remodeling project soon? If so, do you have all of the items that you will need? When it comes to bathroom remodeling or just about any other home improvement project, many individuals automatically think of the materials that will be used. If you are looking to replace your bathtub, of course, you will need a replacement bathtub, but how will you get that bathtub installed without tools? You can’t. That is why it is important to know what you tools you will need before starting your next bathroom remodeling project.
When it comes to tools, you will find that the tools used with all depend on the remodeling that is being done. For instance, if you are planning on remodeling your entire bathroom, you will likely need more tools than you would if you were just replacing your bathroom cabinets. Despite the fact that different bathroom remodeling projects often call for different tools, you will find that some tools can be used on just about all bathroom remodeling projects. It might be a good idea to keep these tools, which are listed below, on hand at all times.
One of the many tools that you will want to have on hand, when remodeling your bathroom, is a pair of pliers. Pliers are one of those tools that you may need to use on a regular basis, not just for a kitchen remodeling project. Therefore, there is a good chance that you already have a pair of pliers in your home or on your tool belt.
It is also advised that you have a tape measure on hand, when preparing to start your next bathroom remodeling project. Whether you are looking to install a new light fixture or tile your bathroom floor, a tape measure could come in handy. In addition to a tape measure, you may also want to make sure that you have a level. Using a level with a tape measure will not only help to ensure that your cabinets or wall hangings are centered, but that they are also level.
Another tool that you should always have on hand, when remodeling your bathroom, is a screwdriver. In fact, unless you have a multi-function screwdriver, you may even need to have to have more than one screwdriver on hand. Even better than a multi-function screwdriver is a screw gun. Screwdrivers are a great, yet simple way to help speed up your next bathroom remodeling project.
It is also advised that you have a ladder on hand, when remodeling your bathroom. Ladders are used to help reach high places. If you need to paint your bathroom ceiling or even replace your bathroom lights, you may need to use a ladder. In addition to a ladder, it may be a good idea to keep a small stepstool on hand. Stepstools are great for helping you reach high spaces that are high enough to need assistance, but not high enough to need a ladder. Stepstools are also nice because most tend to take up a relatively small amount of space.
In addition to all of the above mentioned tools, it is also important to place a focus on safety. If and when you go out to purchase new kitchen remodeling tools, it is advised that you also purchase some safety equipment, especially if you don’t already own some. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to, work gloves, construction hats, face masks, and safety goggles.
The above mentioned kitchen remodeling tools and safety equipment pieces are just a few of the many items that you may need. For an accurate list of tools that may need to be used during your next bathroom remodeling project, you are advised to review the remodeling projects that you have scheduled, as well as their directions. Doing so is the best way to not only know what to expect, but also to know what tools you may need to go out and buy.

remodeling a bathroom, garage style, ideas please?
Im redoing my sons bathroom, very small area, just where sink and commode are is about 4×6 feet. other side is shower stall. I am considering doing it in garage style and anything goes. am looking at parts washer for sink, tool box for vanity cabinet, diamond plate wallpaper, lots of chrome, stainless, galvanized, stuff. The flooring has me stymied. Looking for something like a hard surface you would find in a shop or garage, but i have particle wood floor base. He wants a concrete look. Please throw any ideas my way for things to do to this bathroom, i pretty much will try anything.
Bathroom Remodel, Wallpaper Removal/New Paint Help?
We just bought a new home and i wanted to redo the upstairs bathroom, which had this awful fish wallpaper up. As i started to remove it, i found that there was another layer of floral wall paper underneath. As i was removing the second set of paper, I found that it had been placed directly over the drywall. My question is, what do i do now? How do i get the walls even (there are digs and scrapes all over from the tools i had to use to removed the wallpaper) so that I can paint it and make it look smooth? My husband thought we might have to putty up the whole room and then sand it down. Is this correct, or is there something else we can do? Thank you so much for your help!!
Should I tell my husband the contractor caught me masturbating?
This is a VERY embarassing to ask but I would like advice. We just finished a master bathroom remodel. The contractor was coming to drop off the keys to the house and pick up his tools in the bathroom on monday, I thought it was next monday. I had today off and this morning was completely naked and masturbating. I looked up and there he was standing in the doorway. I didnt hear him come up the stairs over the buzzing of the vibrator. I screamed and ran into the bathroom. I put on my robe and let him take his tools. We had never been home during the remodel before. He was very sweet, trying to make me feel better and kept appologizing. I asked him how long he had been there. He blushed and said not very long but long enough to clearly see everything I was doing. We have known each other for years. I just dont know if it better to keep this between us because my husband is jealous and would KILL HIM if he found out. It was not his fault totally I should have paid more attention to when he was coming over and closed the door.
What should I do? I don’t know what to do.

This is the only person other than my husband who as seen me doing sexual stuff. I mean from his viewpoint he could see it going inside me. I dont know how to even process that.
Decorating bathroom at work.Need ideas…..?
We have a spending limit of 100 dollars to decorate paint do whatever to bathroom at work. Its a tool store. Any and all ideas are welcome. Can remodel entire thing.
I just finished a similar bathroom project, I found it easier just to do a light coat of “mud” over the entire wall, a bathroom is small, I have done this with 2 bedrooms in my old victorian. only a light sanding is needed, put a fan in your window, keep the door shut, dust is minimal, then just second coat the holes with spackling compound (sinks less) prime and paint as usual, kilz or zinnser are not necessary, but use 2 coats of good quality “bathroom/ kitchen paint. whoever mentioned tiles, shame on you, tiling is a nightmare for do-it-yourselfers.
I honestly don’t think you need to do anything. It was an embarrassing situation for you, sure, but you’ll look back and laugh about it someday. You made a mistake regarding the day, sure, but you did not do anything morally wrong that you need to “confess” to your husband or anything. Additionally, the contractor did wrong. He had a key, but common courtesy demands that he should have rung your door bell before entering, just in case. Besides that, the polite thing to do would have been to walk back out when he saw you, rung the doorbell, and pretend like he had seen nothing. So, you are not entirely to “blame” in this situation. Again, though, there seems to me to be nothing you should do — you have already handled an embarrassing situation as well as could be reasonably expected.
If he wants the concrete look why not put concrete?
